Release of the Beta version of MyQuestionsMatter

Hitchin, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom (PressExposure) January 28, 2008 -- By recommending relevant questions for patients to ask during an appointment or visit, based on medical condition, age, gender, etc., MyQuestionsMatter.com can help patients to get the treatment they need and the service they expect from the health service.

To ensure that no-one is excluded from the service, users of the website can generate a list of questions relating to a selected medical condition without needing to register. Registering with the service does, however, offer more control over the list of questions generated, and enables case and appointment records to be set up and maintained.

Researchers have found that helping patients to ask questions from question prompt sheets can improve their experience of treatment. MyQuestionsMatter has been established to help improve the interaction between patients and health professionals in positions of responsibility.

The site is currently at the beta stage, and comments and feedback are very welcome from both users of the health service and medical professionals working in the industry.
