The Ethics BoardMyQuestionsMatter will establish a standalone Ethics Board separated from MyQuestionsMatter Ltd to safeguard the standards of the website. MyQuestionsMatter Ltd is actively seeking expressions of interest from a range of representatives from patient support organisations and the health care profession who could devote a small amount of time to preserve the standards of MyQuestionsMatter. If you want to express interest in becoming a member of the Ethics Board, please email us with ‘Ethics Board’ in the email header. The Ethics Board will be entirely independent of MyQuestionsMatter Ltd. To ensure impartiality, no member of the Ethics Board will be paid for his or her time, nor will any of the participants have any financial links with MyQuestionsMatter Ltd. The exclusive responsibility of the Ethics Board will be to ensure the consistent ethical standards of MyQuestionsMatter. The structuring of the Ethics Board has not been decided, however MyQuestionsMatter Ltd proposes to establish the Ethics Board as a separate company. The board of this second company will constitute the Ethics Board of MyQuestionsMatter and will have the power to ensure that MyQuestionsMatter meets the standards laid down in its Code of Conduct. The role of the Ethics Board is defined as follows:
